Calling all former students!
Our annual Alumni Breakfast has grown substantially and last week we were excited to see 130 past grads from 2005-2009 return to Westside. A big thank you goes out to Alum parents Judy Thompson, Susan Hertz and Gary Birchfield and AP Coordinator Stephanie Matlock for organizing the event and to everyone who helped make it a huge success. Our alumni enjoyed re-connecting with former classmates, teachers, and deans and we really enjoyed hearing what they’ve been up to in recent years. We hope to see you all back next year!
Many of our alumni stayed on campus to visit with seniors during Homeroom and members from the Class of 2010 shared their high school experiences with our freshmen classes for College Day. Our students embraced the opportunity to ask questions of their peers and our thanks go out to Principal Intern Chris Wood for all his hard work in organizing the event.
